How Much does it cost? Walk-in Axe throwing is $15 +tax per person, per hour Wednesday and Thursday and $20 per person, per hour on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Special events are $35 per person (minimum of 6) for a 2.5 hour experience and may be booked by clicking the Book Now button on the home page or by emailing us at Info@AbqAx.com
Is there instruction on how to throw axe? Yes, all new participants and anyone wanting some pointers will receive a brief training session on axe throwing basics and safety protocol by one of our coaches. Coaches are happy to answer further questions during your session.
Is axe throwing safe? Yes - axe throwing is just as safe as any similar recreational activity. As long as participants follow the safety rules and act reasonably, axe throwing is safe. Our coaches are there to help participants throw safely and follow the rules.
What should I wear? High-heeled shoes or open-toe shoes are NOT allowed. Participants should wear comfortable clothing that allows you to have full range of motion in your arms and closed toe shoes.
Are there age restrictions? Anyone aged 13 or over may participate. We have family times on Sunday and other days as specified.
Should I bring my own axe? No - we provide the equipment. Abq Ax LLC reserves the right to disallow the use of any personal axe.
May I take photos/videos? Yes, video and photography are welcomed and encouraged. Our staff will even help you take a photograph of your group striking your best axe throwing pose!

From Southbound I-25 take the Candelaria / Menaul exit, stay on the frontage road and once you pass Candelaria take a left on Broadbent Pkwy.
From Menaul, Broadbent Pkwy. is just West of I-25, head North on Broadbent Pkwy. to our address. We are located on the North side of the street next to the Craftroom.
